St. George's Church in Kendal is a beautiful and historic venue for a wedding ceremony. The church, which dates back to the 13th century, offers a unique and charming setting for couples to exchange their vows. The church's traditional architecture, including its stained glass windows and intricate stone carvings, provides the most picturesque backdrop for wedding photos.

Karen and Peter had been together for 23 years when Peter finally popped the question, and so they chose to get married at St. George's Church, surrounded by their closest family and friends as they exchanged their vows. The ceremony was filled with emotion and joy as they pledged their love for one another. The beautiful setting of the church and the magnificent light coming through the tall windows combined with the heartfelt vows made for some truly unforgettable moments. A huge thanks to Rev. Jean Radley for being so accommodating!

After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to the Castle Green Hotel for the reception, where upon arrival, they were greeted with champagne and canapés, as they mingled and congratulated the happy couple. The two of them stole a few moments away from their guests to get some photos, followed by speeches and a lovely meal before letting their hair down on the dance floor. I then quietly left them to enjoy the rest of their evening together with their nearest and dearest. Below is a small selection of some of my favourite photos from their day.
